Information About Gamat
Gamat refers to an animal that lives on the seabed belonging to the Holothuroidea class. He has no member who comes out and is more shaped cucumber. Therefore, it is also known as sea cucumber in some places
It is estimated that there are 1100 species of sea cucumber in the world but only about 50 species can be found in Malaysian waters. Gamat can also be used as a medicinal oil. Due to its resilient ability to survive even though it has been cut into two, it can be used as a remedy for the wound. In traditional Malay medicine, it has been proven to heal the wound in the short term.
